Make your unique sustainable statement with pride with this boat sling bag. This unique bag upcycled from old newspapers combines great product design with years of weaving experience. If you are wondering how a newspaper product can be so strong, it's not made from one large piece of paper. Instead, It is made by weaving very thin strips of newspaper on the loom (almost like yarn) with a strong cotton thread. The newspaper strips are soaked in a plant based glue before weaving them to further strengthen them. Besides, the cotton lining inside the bag is a double lining and enforced with expert stitching. We have tested this bag quite a bit and and it works perfectly. With an adjustable handle and three pockets to organize your stuff, it makes for a perfect compact sling bag!
Each bag supports women artisans from rural India.
